Daniel & Shelby's Story
Daniel and Shelby went to school together since middle school. Throughout high school, they crossed paths occasionally, but for the most part, they ran in separate circles. One year, they had a class together, and every time Shelby walked into the room, Daniel would get out of his seat to pester her in true Daniel fashion and give her a hug. Later, they discovered that they both had a
crush on each other during school. Awww.
Many years later, Shelby went on a date with a fellow classmate, and Daniel just so happened to be at the same restaurant they went to. While Shelby went to the ladies' room, Daniel asked her date if they were in fact “on a date,” and the classmate could not tell him yes or no..lol. Daniel knew that this was his moment to shine and later that evening, Daniel messaged Shelby and as they say……the rest is history!
What the wedding means to us….
Our happy place is Mexico, specifically the Cancun, Riviera Maya area, and adjacent islands. We visit the area as much as we can and are always looking forward to our next vacation there. Having our wedding in our happy place has always been the only thought either of us has had. We knew the moment we started talking marriage that we were getting married in the “Motherland”. Being on the beach, feeling the sun, smelling the ocean air, all while standing before our family and friends, brings joy to us both. We CANNOT wait until this time comes!
How much we want our friends and family there….
We want our most cherished people to experience our most cherished vacation spot. We want them to see the happiness it brings us, and hopefully, they will have the same joy. More importantly, we want them to see us stand before God and proclaim our love and commitment to each other.

Majestic Jr. Suite (Swim Up)
Garden or Pool View, located on the ground floor, with outdoor jacuzzi, lounge bed, and direct access to a private pool or the main building's swimming pool, depending on location. Maximum Occupancy 4, (2AD2CH/3AD1CH/4AD). Bedding: 1 king. 725 sq. ft.
Room placement can be requested, but not guaranteed, and is subject to availability at check-in.
One Bedroom Suite (Outdoor Jacuzzi)
Garden or pool view given randomly to the client, located on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th floor, with an outdoor Jacuzzi and lounge bed. Doors separate the living room and bedroom areas. Maximum Occupancy 4 (2AD2CH/3AD1CH/4AD). Bedding: 1 king, 1 pull-out sofa, and 1 Murphy bed. 850 sq. ft.

Unlimited visits are allowed to all restaurants, reservations are required only in the Bistro Restaurant, which is adults only (+18 years), or the Japanese Kabuki (7 Teppanyaki tables). Lobster is included at the Mar House Restaurant. Dress code applies.

Why should I book into the group?
A group code has been created through Outta Here Travels for rooms at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres. This code will link their friends and family to the Wedding Ceremony and all of the events that may be associated with it.
When you book within this group, you may receive an additional supplier discount (minimum of 5 rooms needed) based on the reservation cost.
A complimentary wedding ceremony may be earned for Daniel & Shelby with 105+ room nights booked by guests within the group.
This code is only available through Outta Here Travels, as Daniel & Shelby have entrusted travel arrangements with this agency. I respect any client/travel agent relationship, but when working with a Destination Wedding group, the bride and groom can only earn extras when the reservation is made through the travel agent of record on the group. Guests who book outside of the Group program will be charged additional fees per person per event to attend and those rooms will not count towards the 105 room nights needed for a complimentary ceremony.
